Youth and Women Workers’ Camp-2020 held

BILS, under its’ DGB-BW project organised a two days Youth and Women Workers’ Camp-2020 on November, 29-30  at Bangladesh Mahila Samiti Field, Dampara, Chattogram.

BILS-LRSC Coordination Committee Chairman A M Nazimuddin and Member of the committee Tapan Datta jointly inaugurated the camp.

To encourage women and youth in trade union two seperate workshops, sector-based exhibition of trade union activities in tents, games and sports among core team members, experience sharing of victim workers, giving reception of two local senior most trade unionists Port workers leader Ahsanullah Chowdhury and Railway workers leader Md. Sirazullah.

A concept paper entitled “Trade Union: Problems and Way Forward” and another concept paper on “ Trade Union Fund: Alternative Thinking” were presented in the camp discussion which was addressed among others by trade union leaders and Core Team members namely Md. Safar Ali, Shafi Bangali, Kazi Anwarul Huq, A K M Abdul Momin, M R Monju, S K Bari, Md. Nurul Abser, Chowdhury Md. Ali, K M Shahidullah, Syed Md. Badal, Iftekhar Kamal Khan, Uzzal Bishwash, Shahenewaz Chowdhury, Advocate Md. Iqbal, Jabed Alam, Abdur Rahim, Md. Hanif, Tamanna Binte Azad, Abdul Wadud Jibon and Tuhin Akter.
