A planning meeting regarding BILS-Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES)  cooperation was held on April 9, 2018 at BILS Seminar Hall. Finalizing the activities of BILS-FES cooperation for April to November, 2018 was the main objective of the meeting.

Advocacy for strengthening and effective functioning of the ‘Tripartite Consultative Council-TCC’ in RMG Sector, advocacy for workers’ rights and Social Safety  at informal sector (Tea Garden and Fishing Workers), capacitybuilding of youth Trade Union Leaders and organizers, regular publication of BILS to equip the TU and other stakeholders with necessary for updating information were the discussed issues in the meeting.

FES Residential Representative Tina Blohm and Programme Coordinator Arunduty Rani, BILS Executive Director Syed Sultan Uddin Ahmmed, Project Coordinator Kohinoor Mahmood, Programme Officer Monirul Kabir and Information Coordinator Md. Yousuf Al-Mamun participated in the planning meeting.
