BILS, with the support of Oxfam organised National Domestic Workers Coordination Committee meeting on July 19, 2018 at BILS Seminar Hall. Main objectives of the meeting were to define outline, conducting process of National Domestic Workers Coordination Committee and to implement the recommendations on future activities of this committee.

Setting the outline of the committee, defining conducting process, role and action strategy, determining criteria list of the committee were the main discussed issues of the meeting.

Bangladesh Trade Union Centre Office Secretary Shahida Parveen Shikha, National Domestic Workers Coordination Committee Convener Dr. Wajedul Islam Khan, JSJ Working President Md. Abdul Wahed,SKOP Joint Coordinator Naimul Ahsan Jewel, Bangladesh Sramik Federation General Secretary A A M Fayez Hossain, BSF representative Rafiqul Islam Pathik, JSF representative Nurun Nahar Khanam, DWAB representative Arifa Akter, Bangladesh Trade Union Centre representative Sayera Khatun and Humaira Begum, BJSF Secretary Shameem Ara and leaders of  national Trade Union Federation and Organisers of domestic workers participated in the meeting.
