BILS, with the support of Friedrich –Ebert- Stiftung (FES) organised a journal launching and consultation meeting with trade union leaders and academicians titled “Labour and Development Issues and Areas of Forthcoming Research” on November 29, 2017 at BILS Seminar Hall.
Taking directions, recommendations and initiatives from the discussion of leaders and academicians on recently published two journals and labour and development issues aimed at marking the areas of forthcoming researches were the main objectives of the meeting.
In the meeting the discussants recommended to increase the publicity of the journals and to follow some rules and arrange social dialogue for maintaining the quality.
BILS Vice Chairman Md. Mojibur Rahman Bhuiyan chaired the meeting, while BILS Executive Director Syed Sultan Uddin Ahmmed delivered the introductory speech. Khairuzzaman, Project Coordinator Nazma Yesmin, FES Programme Coordinator Aurunduty Rani, BILS Advocacy Coordinator Adv. Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Information Coordinator Md. Yousuf Al-Mamun, Research Coordinator Md. Manirul Islam, were present in the meeting.
