As part of the BILS-DGB-BW project activity, a MoU Signing ceremony was held on October 29, 2018 at the campus of Southern University, Chittagong.

As per the agreement between BILS and Southern University the students of the university will be able to join in the BILS-DGB-BW internship programs and activities, take part in numerous research initiatives and will be able to enrich their knowledge on Labour Law and Trade Union rights, social justice and relevant issues.

Southern University Vice Chancellor Dr. Md. Nurul Mostafa, Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Engineer M Ali Ashraf, Vice President Sarwar Jahan, Head of Department of Business Dr. Israt Jahan, Registrar Dr. Engr. Md. Muzammel Hossain, Assistant Registrar Dr. Mohammed Shafiullah Mir, Deputy Director Rezwan Razan, BILS-LRSC Coordination Committee Chairman A M Nazimuddin, and Member Tapan Dutta, Paralegal Coordinator Rizwanur Rahman Khan were present in the signing ceremony.
