BILS SRDW project in cooperation of Oxfam in Bangladesh and Domestic Workers Rights Network-DWRN organised a workshop titled “Drafting of National Action Plan (NAP) for implementation of domestic workers protection and welfare policy, 2015” on March 28, 2021 at CIRDAP Auditorium in the capital.
Main objective of the workshop was to drafting the National Action Plan with the support of the policy makers, government officials, representatives of local government and local administration, trade unions, civil society, NGOs, human rights organizations, academicians and media.
Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Employment Dr. Md. Rezaul Haque was present as chief guest at the workshop. BILS Joint Secretary General Dr. Wajedul Islam Khan was in the chair, while DWRN Acting Coordinator Abul Hossain acted as moderator. DWRN Member Secretary and BILS Director Nazma Yesmin delivered the welcome address. Former Additional Secretary and World Bank Consultant A.B. M Khorsed Alam, Bangladesh National Women’s Lawyers Association-BNWLA President Adv. Salma Ali, Director of the Department of Labour Md.
