Trainers Training held on ILO Convention 190 for the Prevention of Gender based Violence at workplace

BILS, with the support of CARE Bangladesh organised a two day long trainers’ training on “Trainers Training on ILO Convention 190 for the Prevention of Gender based Violence at Workplace” on 28-29 October, 2020 at the BILS Seminar Hall aimed at forming a trainers’ team for inspiring the government to ratify ILO Convention 190 through lobby and advocacy at national level.

Main objectives of the programme to build the capacity of the participants for making them able to describe the current situation of gender based violence at workplace in Bangladesh,   to explain ILO Convention 190 and ILO Recommendation 206; to prepare a planning session on any part of ILO Convention 190 by using proper training methodology and practice it were the main objectives of organising the training.

At the opening session BILS Director Kohinoor Mahmood delivered the introductory speech and training were conducted by BILS Consultant Abu Eusuf Mollah and Khandoker Abdus Salam.  Total number of 12 participants from IndustriAll Bangladesh Council participated in the programme.
