A half yearly joint media briefing was held on October 28, 2018 at Saffron Restaurant, Chittagong aiming to acknowledge the workers and citizens of Chittagong about the BILS-DGB-BW project activities and upcoming events.

BILS Executive Council Secretary and JSL central joint secretary Md. Shafar Ali read out the press note during the media briefing while BILS Executive Council Secretary and BJSD Chittagong Divisional Committee president A M Nazimuddin and president of TUC Chittagong Zilla Committee Tapan Dutta answered the questions asked by the present press and media representatives.
