BILS, with the support of the ILO, successfully organised a two-day capacity building training titled “Work Wise Youth: A Guide to Youth Rights at Work” on 24–25 May at Dhaka Ahsania Mission. Youth trade union leaders from Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet participated in this training.

The training aimed to develop a group of capable trainers who will raise awareness among workers at the divisional level about their rights and safety in the workplace. This effort is intended to empower young workers entering the labour force to navigate the complexities of the modern work environment, and to equip them with knowledge to address workplace discrimination, harassment, violence, and other rights violations.
