A three-day training programme for Right Reporters Team was organised from December 27-29, 2016 at the Seminar Hall of Hotel Golden Inn in Chittagong. Objective of the training programme were to discuss on different issues like rights of working people, present scenario and the role of media, labour rights and national and international tools, violation of labour rights, collecting information, sources of information, techniques and field visit, definition of news and feature, writing and publish news and feature, technique of taking interview etc. A total of 26 members participated at the training programme.

BILS Executive Director Syed Sultan Uddin Ahmmed addressed the inaugural session, where he described the aim of this training. Former General Secretary of Chittagong Press Club Nazimuddin Shyamol, Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism at Chittagong University Dr. Morshedul Islam, BFTUC Treasurer Rizwanur Rahman Khan, BILS-DGB Project Coordinator Kohinoor Mahmood, Information Coordinator Md. Yousuf Al Mamun and BILS-DGB Information Officer, Ferdous Ara conducted different sessions of the training. Participants interviewed each other and discussed about their experience. Later, they produced some features.

At the closing session of the training programme, Joint secretary of Jatiya Sramik League and Secretary of BILS Md. Shafar Ali and Bangladesh Jatiyatabdi Sramik Dal Chittagong President and BILS Secretary A M Nazim Uddin addressed among others. Certificates were handed over to the participants after training session.
