BILS, under DGB-BW project organised a centre coordination committee meeting on November 8, 2020 at BILS-LRSC, Chattogram.

Apart from the senior leadership associated with the coordinating activities, all staffs of BILS-LRSC took part in the meeting. The meeting was presided over by BILS-LRSC Coordination Committee Chairman A M Nazimuddin. The meeting was addressed among others by BILS-LRSC Coordination Committee Member Tapan Dutta, BILS-LRSC officials namely Pahari Bhattacharjee, Rizwanur Rahman Khan, Fazlul Kabir Mintu, Yachin Arafat, Achajee Mukta and Md. Ali.

The meeting mainly reviewed the ongoing project activities and discussed about upcoming activities.

The meeting expressed deep concern over the unemployment of informal sector workers, ongoing illegal lay-off and forced termination of workers in RMG and other sectors, social insecurity of day laborers, construction workers, hotel and health workers beside less payment by the employers amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
